Mashed Butternut Squash

Ingredients: - Butternut squash  - Butter (or coconut oil) - Orange juice & zest - Maple syrup (or brown sugar) - Salt  - Ground cinnamon

Step 1: Add the butternut squash & salt to a large pot. Cover with water.

Step 2: Boil the squash until tender and it pierces easily with a fork.

Step 3: Drain the squash. Add orange juice & zest, butter or coconut oil, maple syrup, salt, and cinnamon.

Step 4:  Mash well. Season with additional salt to taste.

Perfectly seasoned with cinnamon and citrus flavor!
