Air Fryer Broccolini is crispy, tender, colorful, and cooks in under 10 minutes. Finish it with lemon juice and parmesan cheese for a beautiful side dish that pairs with your favorite protein.
16ozbroccolini, cleaned and ends trimmedor two bundles of broccolini
1tablespoonextra virgin olive oil
Large pinch salt
1tablespoonlemon juiceor balsamic or red wine vinegar
2tablespoonsgrated parmesan cheeseoptional
Instructions
With the air fryer basket inserted, preheat the air fryer to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
In a large bowl, drizzle the broccolini with the olive oil and sprinkle with the salt. Gently toss the broccolini to cover.
Add the broccolini to the preheated air fryer. Air fry for 8-10 minutes, gently tossing every 4 minutes, or until dark green on the stalks and the florets are starting to turn a golden brown.
Sprinkle the broccolini with the lemon juice and grated parmesan (it using). Serve hot!
Notes
Storing: Leftovers keep in a covered container in the refrigerator for 2-3 days.
Reheating: Reheat broccolini in a preheated 350-degree Fahrenheit air fryer for 2-3 minutes, or until warmed through.
Dry Broccolini Before Air Frying: Thoroughly wash and dry broccolini before air frying for crispy broccolini. Damp broccolini will steam instead of crisp.
Trim to Size: As you trim your broccolini, have your air fryer basket nearby, and trim the stalks so they fit inside your basket. Alternatively, you can cut the pieces in half and have some broccolini with tops and some without. Cutting is especially helpful if you have a smaller air fryer basket.
Air Fryer Temperature: Air fryers can vary greatly in their strength and temperature accuracy. For the most accurate temperature reading, insert an oven thermometer into your air fryer and add the broccolini to the basket only when fully heated to 350 degrees.
