It makes a great breakfast, post workout snack, or afternoon treat!The spinach is optional but adds extra nutrition with a neutral flavor. Baby kale or a baby greens blend can also be used.
1 ½cupunsweetened almond milkor other nut or oat milk
2tablespoonshemp seeds
1 ½cupbaby spinachoptional
1 ½cuppineapple chunkspreferably frozen
1large banana
Instructions
Add the ingredients to the blender in the order listed.
Blend on medium speed in the blender until smooth. Serve immediately.
Notes
1. This recipe can also be made with dairy milk.2. Fresh or canned pineapple chunks can also work in this recipe. If using either, use frozen banana chunks (instead of fresh banana). 3. Flax seeds or chia seeds can substitute for the hemp seeds.
