111-14 oz loafItalian bread, French bread, ciabatta, or baguettecut into 1-inch-thick slices
Instructions
In a small mixing bowl, stir together the softened butter, 2 tablespoons olive oil, garlic, salt, parsley, parmesan cheese, and mozzarella cheese until well combined.
Lightly brush the bottom sides of the bread slices with the remaining 1 tablespoon olive oil.
Spread 1–2 tablespoons of the garlic butter mixture onto the top of each slice of bread, spreading to about ⅛-inch thickness. The exact amount will vary depending on the size of your slices.
Preheat the air fryer to 375°F. If using air frying racks, install them before preheating. If using an air fryer basket, preheat with the basket inserted.
Arrange the garlic bread slices in a single layer in the preheated air fryer, leaving at least ½ inch of space between each slice for proper air circulation.
Air fry for 4–5 minutes, or until the bread is crisp on the edges and the cheese is golden brown and bubbly. Serve immediately for the best texture.
Notes
Enjoy fresh for the best texture: For the best flavor and texture, serve immediately after air frying while the edges are golden and the cheese is bubbly.Adjust cook time for different bread thicknesses: Thinner slices may only need 2–3 minutes, while thicker slices of bread may need an extra minute or two. Keep an eye on the garlic bread during the final minute of cooking, as air fryers can vary.Storage directions: If not cooking everything at once, store the sliced bread and garlic butter mixture separately. Store the bread in an airtight container at room temperature for 2–3 days. Store the garlic butter mixture in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks and let it soften at room temperature before using. Assemble the bread just before air frying and enjoy.
